Understanding the people you love through the way they communicate

Supporting The Whole Person

I work with tweens and teens who are smart, complex, and often misunderstood — specializing in executive functioning, neuroaffirming therapy, and expressive and receptive language, auditory processing, and articulation. I also support younger children and families in early language and literacy development. Whatever brings you here, my approach is the same: understand the whole person first.

Marie was amazing!  Super professional and knowledge on how best to meet my son’s specific needs.  She engaged easily with him and he enjoyed their sessions.  She was flexible on scheduling and communicated well with us before and after sessions.  Highly recommend her.

Marie is an extremely intuitive and talented Speech Therapist who also dramatically improved our son’s Pragmatic Speech and language...She is so skilled in this approach that my son couldn’t wait to meet with her every week...Because children encounter a whole new set of social situations in middle and the beginning of high school, we continued our sessions into the teens so that he could thrive in his speech and communication skills...although he “graduated” from his speech sessions with Marie at the end of 9th grade, he always thinks of her as a mentor and a friend. We can’t thank her enough!

Marie is deeply kind and incredibly effective. She is highly communicative, flexible, and exceptionally skilled. Our son looked forward to meeting with her every week - and for a little guy who is often nervous about assessments and new situations, that was a very big deal.
His progress was remarkable. Over the course of seven months, he went from missing several key sounds to missing none at all. And the fact that the process was genuinely enjoyable for him meant the world to us.
Marie is one of the very best people we’ve encountered in our son’s educational journey so far. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
